Finally have arrived in the land od the Bauguette and it's such a fantastic city already and I have not even done much at all yet.
Flight was rediculously long but I loved flight from Dubai to Paris, it was full of French people who were all wanting to help me with my directions to the metro and hotel I am staying at. No one was rude.
The only debacle was struggling to purchase my RER train ticket from the airport to Gare Du Nord as the French only ticket machines freaked me out at first and didn't accept my credit cards or accept notes. So I calmed down and walked around aimlessly for a bit but found a change machine, got some coins and worked my way slowly through the French on the machine and I was on my way.
More super friendly French people on the train to help with with my directions.
I was the most exhausted i had ever been last night having been awake for 24+ hrs so I crashed as soon as I go to the hotel.
The hostel is nice, basic but I suppose that's what you get.
Walking around the streets here is great, there is food shops everywhere and the most amazing bakeries and its all very cheap.
Today I am going to buy a french phone number and Hopefully off to a music festival with some aussie mates!
